In every HMO in the UK there must be a noticeboard as required by law which contains the following:

The legal requirements:

  • HMO License (if applicable)
  • Gas safety certificate (tenants copy)
  • EPC (Energy Performance Certificate)
  • Building Regulations Compliance Certificate
  • Name, address and contact details of a manager / agent for the building

You should also have:

  • House rules
  • Cleaning record
  • Locked out / lost keys policy
  • Wi-Fi details
  • Bin schedules
